"Rosalie is an excellent lactation consultant and I would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable about breastfeeding and infants in general. She is very professional, warm, kind and patient, which is what someone needs when discussing the intimate details of breastfeeding your newborn.

Nursing can be challenging when you bring your baby home from the hospital and have no idea what to expect in the early months. Rosalie provided valuable information that assuaged our fears and also great strategies going forward.

You can tell that Rosalie loves her job; she is very good at it. I would feel very comfortable calling her if I have any more questions in the future."

"Rosalie is an absolute gem as a Lactation Consultant! As a first time new mommy, I was completely lost when it came to breastfeeding my newborn son. Physically drained from the birth and severely sleep deprived from those early days, my whole body hurt especially my breasts that were engorged with milk. I felt completely exhausted and mentally defeated. I wasn't sure if my desire to be a breastfeeding mother was actually going to come to fruition. I was struggling. Fortunately, for me Rosalie came into our life when my son was just 9 days old. Rosalie came to my house, seeing what is probably very common sight for her, an overwhelmed new mother, who really did't have a good grasp on this natural process. I don't remember what was said in those early days, I just recall how much her supportive words, her gentle touch and her warm nurturing presence put me at ease. I remember feeling after her first visit that breastfeeding my son would be a reality for me.

Rosalie came to my house every week for the first six weeks to not only to monitor my progress but also, my son's. She helped me build an ample supply of milk. She identified my son's tongue tie and referred us to a wonderful physician to treat it. She gave me additional resources to turn for information and support. She helped build my confidence breastfeeding.

More recently when my son was 3 months old, I reached to Rosalie when I was experiencing a lot of breast pain and an uneven supply of milk. Rosalie, came quickly to my house to identify the problem and come up with an action plan. I was so thankful, to have her as my main resource when it comes to breastfeeding. I knew that breastfeeding is natural process but, it definitely does not come easy. It's a learned skill by both mother and baby and I am so thankful for Rosalie to guide me in this journey."  - A.O.

"We had a great experience with Rosalie as our Lactation Consultant. The two months following the arrival of our twins Rosalie visited us in our home several times to help us get off to a good start breastfeeding as well as help address some issues including severe pain, poor latch and tongue tie. Rosalie has a very warm and caring nature and is a great educator. She is at such ease helping both mom and babies. She spent ample time with us at every appointment and thoroughly observed/evaluated each of our twins and provided us with practical solutions to make breastfeeding easier as well as community resources. Breastfeeding can be a challenge for many and even more so with twins. Rosalie gave us confidence to continue and for that we are very grateful to provide our babies with the experience and benefits of breastfeeding. Our twins are now 3 months and we are still going strong!"  - Kelly & Derek K.

"Rosalie was the first lactation consultant to spot our son's tongue tie. Although we had met several lactation consultants before, no one else had found it. Rosalie is extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She gave us great advice and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to any new parents. She was fantastic!"  - P.J.

"I was very happy to come across Rosalie when looking for a lactation consultant. Having her come to my house was so convenient, which is very much appreciated during the stressful time of new motherhood! She was easy to get in touch with, came prepared, and is very personable. She was great with my baby too and I was very comfortable working with her. We were working through some latching issues, but nothing major and my son was gaining weight well, so even though we only met with Rosalie twice, I felt she provided great insight and a lot of peace of mind that we were all on the right track to successful breastfeeding. She answered my questions and concerns, and I really appreciated that she followed up to check in with us after our appointment."  - A.B.

"I cannot recommend Rosalie enough, Betsy and i would not have come so far if it wasn't for her weekly visits to our home and a set plan to follow each week. Nursing was extremely challenging for my baby and I to begin with. She had tongue-tie, a high palate and we both developed thrush - but with Rosalie's expertise, help and guidance we are now able to nurse without the nipple shield and the SNS. Plus i am able to feed Betsy pain free. Thank you Rosalie!!!!!"  - R.B.

"I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Rosalie at MOM+BABY. She was easily accessible and available. She quickly scheduled with me and came out to see me, which we all know is sooo important when you are looking for a lactation consultant. She was very personable and great with me and my son. She definitely put my mind at ease with her approach and her knowledge base. After having lactation consultants at the hospital, as well as nurses and my pediatrician check my son for any tongue ties, everyone said he had no ties and was latching perfectly, I was at a loss for what was going on that he wasn't transferring and it was so painful. Within the very first part of our first visit Rosalie told me that he did in fact have a tongue tie and referred me to a specialist to get it revised. She was correct. I saw the specialist, the tie was clipped, and our nursing journey was saved! Again, cannot say enough about her competence and bedside manner, she found what no one else did and really helped us in a big way. Thank you Rosalie!"  - A.L.

"I was reluctant at first to see a lactation consultant. I had been lucky enough to have had two positive breastfeeding experiences with my first two kids. I thought I had this breastfeeding down pat. Then my little number three came and she was tongue tied, coughing, choking, and spitting up. But because she was gaining weight like a champ, I thought we could just push through and get it to work. But when I was honest with myself, I knew my breastfeeding relationship with my baby wasn’t as positive as it could be. My low point was when I got mastitis. So I called Rosalie. She was kind and oh-so-patient. She really worked with me to find the root of my issues. She was able to identify things that I couldn’t. When I was deciding whether to have my daughter get a frenectomy, Rosalie never told me yes or no. She gave me information and asked me questions so that I could come to my own decision and be confident with my decision. I never felt judged, or rushed, or ordered around. She really was there to help me and my baby develop a healthy and happy nursing relationship. My baby and I would not be as happy as we are today in our breastfeeding relationship without Rosalie. I absolutely recommend Rosalie in a heartbeat!"  - E.B.

The initial weeks of nursing my newborn daughter were more difficult than I could have imagined, full of physical and emotional discomfort and stress about whether I would be able to nurse - something I had been looking forward to my entire pregnancy. After weeks of struggling with the pain and stress (while also healing from an urgent c-section), my husband and I reached out to Rosalie for help, and she provided the support and guidance that we needed during such a difficult time.

Rosalie is incredibly responsive, professional, knowledgeable and kind, and most importantly for my husband and I, her focus was on helping us find what worked for us and our baby girl, based on our individual priorities and needs. In the midst of a whirlwind of unsolicited advice from well-meaning family and friends telling us what was right or wrong or what we should or shouldn’t do, Rosalie’s approach was refreshing and helped me build confidence, allowing me to learn to trust my instincts.

Rosalie helped us develop a plan that allowed me to manage and ultimately eliminate the pain I was experiencing, as well as increasing my milk supply and also worked with us on techniques that helped our daughter to learn to transfer milk more effectively.  After just a handful of visits with Rosalie, I was nursing my daughter with natural ease and without discomfort or stress for me or my daughter. Rosalie’s guidance and support helped transform an experience that had been stressful and painful to one that is now comfortable and enjoyable for me and my growing baby girl.
